Last week I had a very special visitor to my hide in Northumberland... Prince Harry! The Prince came to see my work as a wildlife photographer to protect the red squirrel, and also met with the team from Red Squirrels Northern England and the Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
It was a great visit, and I got to spend half an hour in my hide with the Prince. We chatted about wildlife in general and, of course, specifically about red squirrels too. The Prince was genuinely intrigued by the whole visit and has promised to persuade his friends (such as the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland) to be more involved in the fight against the grey squirrel.
